HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

Future architect?

KK made this magnificent structure while I was picking out books at the library. She said it is a church with a zoo. That would make Sunday mornings a bit more interesting!

ECDC Halloween Parade

Today was the infamous ECDC Halloween Parade and this was the first year we had two lovely little ones participating.

As you can see Matthew is a tiger and Katharine is a lion with a tutu. Yes, that is a mane for a lion not a rooster or a turkey. The kids had a great time running free across the campus and hearing everyone tell them how cute they were. Who wouldn't love that!?

The kids are featured here before setting out on our cross-campus jaunt. I love the protective arm Katharine has around Matt - the good big sister!

The next picture features Katharine and her friend Anna Bess with their teacher, Jane.

A trip to the dentist

On Monday, the kids had their six month check ups with the dentist. They were both so well-behaved. Since I had both kids, KK had to go off to the chair by herself and I was so surprised that she did it with no fear! What a big girl. The down side is that they found another cavity (another black mark on my mother of the year application!). At least Matt had a clean report (we'll work on the thumb-sucking later).

Checkin' out the ballerinas

Here is Matt (with dance buddy Logan) enjoying a rare opportunity to peek in at the girl's dancing.

We miss you Leila!

I came across this old picture of KK and her (first-ever) buddy Leila. They are pictured here when they were in the two-year old classroom (the Seashells) working on a pre-snack activity. Leila has recently moved to Athens, GA and we miss her a whole bunch!!
