A sign you don't want to see in the bathroom

A friend actually saw this in a building in North Charleston. I think I would want a better solution than a posted sign.

Miles and Mittens - 9 weeks old

Here are Miles (left) and Mittens (right) relaxing on their "playground" (as the children call it). Week one has been mostly good with these two kittens being sweet and very tolerant of the children. We had a couple of "accidents" - but this was always due to human error. So, as this house full of humans (both big and little) get used to our newest residents, our newest King and Queen of the castle have been very patient with us.

Matt gives it a try

After a few baseball like whacks at the ball he decided he was done. The pro suggested we try again in a month or so.

KK's first tennis lesson

More to follow? Hard to say - she was excited at first but now says cleaning up was the most fun.

Belated Birthday Update

My baby boy is now four years old - which is sort of hard to believe. He had a really fun birthday party with all his friend at the North Charleston Fire Museum - a huge room full of shiny red fire engines from every period of history, a simulator truck, and an indoor playground.

There were 21 kids there and I'm pretty sure everyone had a blast. Matt got some awesome gifts in which the opening of the presents was fun (and chaotic) for everyone!

Thank you to all for the good times and the awesome gifts! (Does this qualify as the tackiest thank you card ever?)
